2. SCOPE OF POLICY

This Privacy Policy applies to two distinct groups of individuals:
1. Website Visitors: Individuals who visit and interact with our corporate website at https://monetixads.com.
2. End Users: Individuals who view, click, or interact with advertisements served through our programmatic advertising technology network across publisher websites, mobile applications, and Connected TV (CTV) platforms.

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. Information Collected via Our Corporate Website
When you visit our website, contact us, or register for an account, we may collect:
- Contact Data: Name, business email address, phone number, and company name.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device details, and standard web access logs.
- Account Credentials: Usernames and hashed passwords for publisher/advertiser portals.

B. Information Collected via Our Ad-Tech Network (Programmatic Services)
As an ad network and technology platform, Monetix processes pseudonymous and technical data to serve, target, measure, and analyze digital advertisements. We do not collect directly identifiable personal information (such as full name, physical address, or social security number) through our ad-tech infrastructure.

The data processed via bid requests (OpenRTB standard) includes:
- Online Identifiers: Mobile Advertising IDs (IDFA for iOS, GAID/AAID for Android), CTV Device IDs (Roku ID, Fire TV ID), cookie IDs, and universal identity solutions (where consent is provided).
- Technical & Device Information: User-agent string, browser specification, device type, operating system version, carrier, screen size, and system language.
- Geolocation Data: Coarse/approximate location data derived from IP addresses (country, region, city), or precise location data (lat/long) if explicitly permitted by the end-user via the publisher app/site.
- Ad Impression & Interaction Data: Ads viewed, clicked, rendered, timestamp of ad serving, publisher domain/app ID, and placement attributes.
- Fraud & Quality Signals: Data required to detect Invalid Traffic (IVT), non-human bot activity, and viewability metrics.

4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We process personal data for the following specific purposes:
1. Ad Serving & Optimization: Delivering contextual and interest-based advertisements across Web, In-App, and CTV channels.
2. Frequency Capping & Sequential Messaging: Controlling the number of times a user sees a specific advertisement.
3. Measurement & Analytics: Reporting ad performance, attribution, clicks, conversions, and viewability to advertisers and publishers.
4. Fraud Detection & Security: Utilizing invalid traffic (IVT) prevention tools to identify, block, and prevent fraudulent ad inventory, bot traffic, and security threats.
5. System Operations: Maintaining, auditing, and optimizing our bidding infrastructure, server capacity, and algorithmic auction flows.
6. Corporate Website Management: Managing inquiries, establishing business partnerships, and providing client support.

5. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, Monetix processes personal data based on the following legal grounds:
- Consent: For interest-based advertising, tracking technologies, precise location data, and processing under the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF v2.2).
- Legitimate Interests: For fraud prevention, security, invalid traffic detection, technical ad delivery, and network performance aggregation.
- Contractual Necessity: For processing business partner data necessary to fulfill publisher and demand partner agreements.

6. IAB EUROPE TRANSPARENCY & CONSENT FRAMEWORK (TCF v2.2) COMPLIANCE

Monetix participates in the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF v2.2) and complies with its Specifications and Policies.

- Vendor Identification: Monetix acts as a Vendor within the IAB TCF ecosystem.
- Consent Signals: We respect legal consent signals sent via Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) complying with IAB TCF standards (TC String). If a user opts out or denies consent for specific purposes (e.g., Purpose 1: Store and/or access information on a device; Purpose 3: Create profiles for personalized ads), Monetix will not process personal data for those restricted purposes.

7. DATA SHARING & THIRD-PARTY RECEIVERS

To operate our programmatic advertising network, we share pseudonymous data with:
- Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) & Buyers: Programmatic bidding platforms that bid on ad impressions.
- Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs) & Supply Partners: Digital publishers and ad exchanges originating the ad requests.
- Verification & Anti-Fraud Partners: Third-party measurement providers (e.g., Pixalate, HUMAN, ClearTrust) to verify ad quality, viewability, and clean traffic.
- Cloud Infrastructure & Hosting Services: Secure data center providers and cloud processing partners.
- Legal Authorities: When required by law, court order, or binding legal process.

8. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Monetix operates globally, with core operations based in the United Arab Emirates. Data collected via our ad network may be transferred, stored, and processed in cloud data centers located in the United States, the European Economic Area (EEA), and other jurisdictions.

When transferring data outside the EEA/UK to countries not deemed to offer an adequate level of data protection, we implement appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

9. DATA RETENTION

- Programmatic Ad Data: Pseudonymous ad server logs, bid requests, and impression data are retained for up to 13 months for analytics, measurement, reporting, and audit purposes, after which the data is aggregated or deleted.
- Fraud & Anti-IVT Data: Data used strictly for security and fraud prevention may be retained as necessary to fulfill legal and protective obligations.
- Business Contact Data: Corporate contact details are retained for the duration of the commercial relationship plus standard legal limitation periods.

10. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS & CHOICE CONTROLS

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., EEA, UK, California, Virginia, and other US states), you have specific rights regarding your personal data:

Your Rights:
- Access & Data Portability: Request details of the personal data we hold about you.

- We do not sell directly identifiable personal information. However, sharing pseudonymous identifiers for targeted programmatic advertising may be defined as a "sale" or "sharing" under California law.
- You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising via your device settings or by emailing privacy@monetixads.com.
- We do not knowingly collect, sell, or share personal data of consumers under 16 years of age.

12. SECURITY MEASURES

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures—including encryption, pseudonymization, strict access controls, and network monitoring—to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

13. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Monetix Services are strictly intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16 (or under the age established by local law). If we become aware that personal data of a child has been processed without verified parental consent, we take immediate steps to delete such information.
